Kind attention of Buyers and Sellers is drawn to para 3 ( ix) of GeM General Terms and conditions. It is reiterated  that all transactions including order placement must be completed online on  GeM. Any Order placed off line relating to GeM transactions shall be deemed violative of GFR compliance and shall lead to audit concerns. Further, in some cases, Sellers and Buyers have come together for offline order placement so as to avoid paying transaction charges. This shall be treated as an act of causing loss to a Government entity and all such contracts shall be treated as null and void and shall invite action accordingly.

Sellers are advised not to accept any order offline and notify the same immediately on Incident Management Module of GeM,to avoid any further action as per GeM Terms & conditions
