As per revised Incident Management Policy of GeM (Annexure I), GeM would be implementing platform driven penalties against Seller/Service Provider in cases of all deviations such as -
(i) Delay in Delivery
(ii) Failure to confirm order received within prescribed time leading to Auto-cancel of order
(iii) Decline of Order
(vi) Buyer cancelling the order due to non-supply of goods/services
All Sellers/Service Providers are advised to read the IM Policy and strictly adhere to the GeM guidelines. Seller/Service Provider shall be solely responsible in case any action is taken against them as per the policy. The deviations on GeM portal w.e.f. 23rd November 2019 will attract the platform driven penalties as per IM policy. For details of IM policy please refer below link View File
